Newmanstown, PA (June 3) - Lanco's Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway returns to action this Saturday, June 8, with a five division show of the wildest winged Micro Sprint racing in the northeast!
It's also Scout Night at the speedway, with all Scouts who show up in uniform receiving free admission to the spectator stands.
On the progressively banked clay, the Hyper Racing 600 Sprints, the Viper Chassis 270 Sprints, Sportsman, 125cc, and 250cc Four-Strokes will do battle in heat races, consolations, and 25-lap main events.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with warm-ups getting underway at 6:00. The first heat race goes green at 7:00. Adult general admission is just $8.00, with discounts for Senior Citizens and Students. Tickets for youth between the ages of six and 12 are just $2.00, and children under the age of six are admitted free. And, this week only, all Scouts (in uniform) get in free!
Coming up on June 15 is Lanco's Salute to Father's Day, when all dads pay half-price for adult general admission tickets.
The point battles are in full swing and Mike Rutherford has been hotter than a mid-July afternoon in both the 600 and 270 divisions. Who will rise up and attempt to knock Rutherford off the top of the heap in both point chases?
Only one way to find out...and that is by coming out to LIVE the excitement that is Lanco!
