Below is a synopsis of the major rule changes for 2024 season. The updated rule books can be found here:
Qualified drivers will no longer need to attempt to start a feature event to receive payout. If a qualified driver does not attempt or start a feature they will receive last place payout.
Feature lineups for points races will be based on a weighted redraw. The weighted redraw will work as follows: The heat winners will draw from pills 1-6. If two (2) heats, pills 7 and 8 will be added for 2nd place heat finishers. If three (3) heats, pills 7, 8 and 9 would be added for the 2nd place heat finishers, and so on until all pills are in the bag. Prior points race winner still can start no better than 6th.
Deadline for car registration for a points show is now 15 minutes prior to the advertised warm-up time.
Left side nerf bars will be allowed to extend 1 inch outside the tire.
Defined pace lap to start when the leader crosses the start/finish line the second time after the moment of caution. This determines if a driver that stops that is not involved in the caution maintains their running position or goes to the rear of the field.
Changes to the 4-stroke motor rules for both 250cc and 450cc motors.
To be eligible for points and member car registration, the driver only must be a registered driver in the class. To be a registered driver in a class the driver must be a member and the driver or a representative must complete a work party or pay the work party fee.
