Press Release: One Week Until USAC National Midget Series Invades PA & Battleground Lanco
The USAC National Midget Tour will invade Lanco's Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway tonight, Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Joining the USAC Midgets on the racing card will be the Chop Designs Wingless 600 sprints.
Advanced General Admission tickets will be on sale from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the pit shack for the Battleground Lanco event at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway. While all seats will be general admission, purchasing tickets in advance will permit fans to enter at 4 p.m. - one hour prior to everyone else. Blankets, seat cushions, etc. may be put down upon entering the spectator seating area to reserve your seats (we will not allow seats to be saved prior to 4 p.m.). Fans with advance tickets may then walk down to the pit area, where they will have approximately two hours (4 to 6 p.m.) to tour the pits and meet the USAC stars. The pits will be cleared of spectators at 6 p.m.
Advanced tickets are $25.00 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $7.00 for youth (ages 6 - 12). On the day of the race, adult general admission tickets will cost $20.00, with youth tickets (ages 6 - 12) priced at $5.00. Children under the age of six will be admitted free.
Attn Race Teams: Trailer entrance to the pit area will only be from the Sunnyside Road side gate. The normal pit entrance off of Woodcock Dr will not be open and will be used for parking for volunteers.

7:00 PM - Time Trials
Camping Information:
There will be a limited amount of camp sites available on track property for this event. Only those campers with a reservation will be permitted to camp on track property. The camp site fee is $25. The track grounds will be open to campers starting at noon on Monday, August 15. To reserve a camp site, please contact Chris Snyder at race26@icloud.com. You can also camp with our friends at Hickory Run Campgrounds (www.pacampgrounds.com).
Chop Designs Wingless 600 Race Information:
We will be limiting the number of entries to the Wingless 600 class to 40 entries. The race will pay $1,000/win based on 40 race-day entries. Pre-Entry is required. Please contact Tim Bortz at hodnettfan@verizon.net to register for the event. The Chop Designs Wingless 600 will follow the U6SA rules.
